Working holidays in Australia - ongoing
Jackarooing, bar work, fruit picking, office temping, nursing and teaching are among the jobs Tourism Australia is encouraging British backpackers to take on under the Working Holiday Maker Scheme (WHM). It allows travellers aged 18-30 to earn money on holiday through “incidental employment” (ie. temporary or casual).The Work and Travel Company has launched an eight-day farm training programme designed to equip participants with the skills to work on an Australian farmstay. WHM visas can easily be obtained by visiting www.immi.gov.au and choosing the “eVisa” option.
