Council Exchanges offers gap year work and study opportunities in Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the United States. It gives advice on where to look for work, help with accommodation and guidance on the benefits of overseas study. A 24-hour emergency helpline is also provided. Council Exchanges is a division of the Council on International Educational Exchange and last year helped more than 50,000 school and university students.
