Action for Blind People: Insight Challenge - ongoing
This challenge organised by Action for Blind People encourages primary schools across the UK to complete a series of fun sponsored sight-related tasks and challenges for one day or week in the autumn term. Activities include: labelling the eye, exploring the senses, learning about Braille letters and practising guiding. A free pack contains resources for ages 6-11 including a Braille translator, an interactive sight quiz and blindness simulator spectacles.
