Hearing Dogs for Deaf People invites schoolchildren to wear non-uniform on Togs for Dogs day, June 10 (or one more convenient) for a £1 donation. Accompanying school packs contain a drama workshop with script and stage directions on empathising with deaf people, a creative competition to design the 2006 TDD logo and a non-uniform coat for the charity’s 1,000th hearing dog Ria, plus activities such as basic finger-spelling and sign language.
