Target Two Point Zero - annual competition

Each year The Bank of England and The Times invite selected teams of four students aged 16 to 18 to make a presentation to a panel of Bank of England judges.

The challenge gives students a chance to learn more about how the economy works and how interest rates affect inflation, as well as allowing them to demonstrate their team-working, presentation and IT skills.

Top prize is £10,000 for the school. Support resource materials from the Bank are provided and regular features appear in The Times .

The next challenge will be launched in May 2007.
