Science and its importance to our lives will be celebrated during National Science Week, March 10-19, with festivals, talks, chances to conduct experiments, school trips and visits to businesses. This year there is a special focus on colour with activities including Illuminate, a photography competition, which invites people of all ages to submit images which capture colour in science from January 12.
