The Engineering Development Trust offers four day Headstart courses at universities to sixth form boys and girls studying maths, science or technology.

The course gives them an insight into what professional engineers do and offers opportunities to meet others with similar interests and to tackle hands-on problem solving activities. A day in industry meeting working engineers is included.
