Win £3,000 in the annual Christopher Tower poetry competition

For the annual Christopher Tower poetry competition run by Christ Church, University of Oxford, students aged 16-18 are invited to submit poems by  2 March. First prize is £3,000, second £1,000, third £500 and there are significant prizes for winners' schools. Winners can also attend the Christopher Tower summer school.

This year's theme is 'Flight'. The judges are JO shapcott, Francine Stock and Peter Mcdonald.

The winners of the 2006 prize were:
1st prize: Colette Sensier (17), Varndean College, Brighton
2nd prize: Alice Malin (17), Shrewsbury Sixth Form College
3rd prize: Alice Alexandre (17), The Godolphin and Latymer School, London
