Funding for school partnership projects - ongoing
Funding is available through the British Council for UK teachers and heads from schools, special schools and further education colleges to undertake short visits to a partner school in any country to set up a curriculum-based partnership or develop an existing link. Applications should be in by six weeks prior to the proposed visit.

Contact World Links at the British Council on 020 7389 4247; www.britishcouncil.org/education/schools/partnerships/htm mailto:world.links@britishcouncil.org; www.britishcouncil.org/education/schools/partnerships/htm

Also available are opportunities under the European Union’s Socrates programme for schools and colleges to undertake joint, curriculum-based projects with European institutions. Comenius Language Projects, for example, involve students aged 14 to 25 in projects lasting up to one year, which include a reciprocal two-week exchange to develop their language skills and carry out work with their partners.
