Students, experienced teachers and teaching assistants are required to join programmes in China, Ghana, India, Mexico, Nepal, Peru, Russia and Ukraine, South Africa, Thailand and Togo, West Africa. In particular, volunteers are needed to teach English, sport, drama, music, foreign languages (French in Ghana, Thailand, Togo and India, Spanish or German in Russia) and many other subjects for up to six months. All volunteers receive a teaching guide packed with ideas, games and advice and, in many destinations, can take a short course to give them a grounding in the language of the host country. Resident overseas staff provide induction and continuing support and organise accommodation.
