Graduate Teacher Programme - FAQs
Join the Graduate Teacher Programme and train to be a teacher in school.

More prospective teachers are joining the GTP than ever before, but information about it can still be hard to come by. And GTP students tell us how isolated they can sometimes feel in school.

So meet our new TES agony aunt for the GTP, Oriel. Oriel has worked in education for 30 years, including classroom teaching and school management, initial teacher training, Ofsted inspection and consultancy. She is a professional adviser, tutor and external assessor for the Graduate, Registered and Overseas Teacher Programmes.

What to do

If you've got a question about the GTP scheme, or you've got a problem in school you'd like some help with, Oriel is on the GTP forum  to help you. The forum is open to all GTP students, so you may get some discussion going in answer to your question. If you would especially like Oriel to respond to you, write Dear Oriel in the title of your thread.
