Children in Nepal, don’t always have the chance to go to school or have access to clean water or sanitation. The charity Resolve International aims to improve health, access to primary education & welfare for children who live in poverty in Nepal. Providing exercise books & pencils increases access to primary school for the poorest children in Nepal where families cannot afford to send their children to school. Building toilets & installing clean water improves health for families, women’s groups & schools. Resolve International’s welfare programme has improved the quality of life for children living in orphanages & has provided bedding for grandparents living in poverty in rural villages. In the UK we are raising awareness of the need to help children & their families in Nepal through our youth volunteering programme ‘Challenge Nepal’ & through our partnership with Lathom High School in developing these ‘Life in Nepal’ teaching resources for primary & secondary schools.
