Held organist and choirmaster positions at St Michael's Llantarnam Church, St Mary's Church, Croesyceiliog and Holy Trinity Church, Hereford. Music Adviser for The Robert Owen Society (1999-2010). Associate member of the Music Education Council and The National Association of Music Education.
