Isabelle Jones is a qualified translator/interpreter who has been teaching modern languages in a range of schools in England since 1993. Isabelle has been a Head of Languages in a large comprehensive in the North West of England and involved in Primary MFL teaching since 2002. She is a subject mentor for trainee teachers and she is committed to promoting languages through her Personal Learning Network as well as through ALL, the Association for Language Learning, which she supports as a speaker and as an elected executive council member. She is a keen blogger and she uses Social Media to constantly update her practice. Isabelle has presented at a number of local and national events on a range of topics including PLTS, Intercultural Understanding and Social Media. Until recently, she was a Regional Subject Adviser for the MFL Secondary National Curriculum as well as a trainer and consultant for Links into Languages.
