OCR is a leading awarding body that draws on over 150 years’ experience in awarding qualifications. We offer a wide range of diverse vocational and general qualifications from industry-based NVQs to specialist vocational qualifications to GCSEs and A Levels. We have learners based in over 13,000 different centres; in the last year we issued over 3.5 million certificates to learners undertaking Post-19 awards; and in the 2010 summer series of GCSEs and A Levels our unit entries were in excess of 4 million. We develop our qualifications in close consultation with teachers, employers, industry-leaders from both the private and public sectors and government to ensure they are relevant for learners today and meet the regulatory requirements set by OFQUAL.
