Inferential reasoning is an example of higher order language. It is the ability to make use of context and general knowledge which is then applied to the information presented. This information can be given in written, pictorial or spoken forms. It is an important part of language development in sec More…ondary education.
This activity looks at one aspect of inferential reasoning, that which comes from visual stimuli. Through this type of activity students will become more confident at answering ‘what do I know?’ and ‘what can I predict?’
