Dear Colleagues,
I hope that you are finding our new collection of TES English resources on Of Mice and Men both useful and inspirational.
Re the same, and in order to help us plan future collections, we really need your feedback. So, please take a moment to rate the collection and / or individual resources within it. Also, please leave comments on how you have used (intend to use) the resources and / or how you have adapted (intend to adapt) them for use with your students and classes. At a later stage, we will issue formal surveys around these collections. In the meantime, your feedback will be extremely helpful as we will use it to inform further development and potential investment in new collections.

Hugely useful thank you!!
The hierarchy card sort proved particularly inspirational for preparing for OCR controlled assessment. I was able to use it more than once - not just to decide on hierarchy order, but also on 'most disadvantaged' characters. The activity opened up debate that surpassed all expectations -thank you

Dear Suepu,
Thank you for your feedback on the Of Mice and Men collection, and also for posting information on how you used resources from the pack. It is useful to me as I am currently planning future resources and collections, and also, I am sure, very helpful to other teachers, too - especially as they look for ideas to support delivery of Controlled Assessment.
Kind regards,
Chantel Mathias

Some of the activities are really good. Thank you.
I just wanted to know the IWB sections; are they for smart boards? It's just that I use Promethean board.

Dear Begum,
The IWB resources created by TES English as part of these collections have not been developed with any particular brand of IWB in mind. As such, they should work with any board and / or can be projected onto a standard whiteboard.

Chantel

Thank you very much for these fantastic resources. Can I just ask - how do you save customised versions? When I save them, my computer does not recognise a program to open them with. If you could let me know, that would be wonderful.

Thank you for your feedback, Kerry.
When you save question sets to your computer, they should save as simple text files. Probably in text editor?
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Chantel

Thank you soooo much fo this wonderful resource... I'm on maternity leave at the moment and am heading back in September afer having been off for what seems like eternity. I'll be returning to the new curriculum and am so grateful to all these ideas! Just a quickie... Do you have anything for the other Controlled Assessments (Shakespeare & Literary Heritage and the Spoken Language Study) as they are starting to really stress me out!!??
Thank you so much again!

Thank you very much for these resources. They are are really helpful as I am currently writing a SOW for OMAM for Controlled assessment, and the examination for the English Literature. Another new spec is time consuming and these have really, really helped me. As I actually teach some of them this term, I will come back and add my comments too, if that's ok.
