Secondary Maths Collection – Bingo on Excel
TES Secondary maths resource collections
Collection Author: Craig Barton - Maths AST and creator of www.mrbartonmaths.com (TES Name: mrbartonmaths)
Those of you who follow these Collections will know what a big fan I am of Bingo resources. I love that they are an efficient and engaging way of revising a topic, ideal for starters or plenaries. Best of all, the students love them.
We are already fortunate to have a fantastic Collection of Maths Bingo resources on PowerPoint, and now we have the perfect complement to this – an amazing set of Bingo resources on Excel!
The advantage of them being on Excel is that you can make use of the random number function and thus get a different set of questions and answers each time. Each resource has been very cleverly designed so you can use the tabs at the bottom of the screen to see which questions are coming up, print off a lovely set of Bingo cards, and then watch the game unfold. Just make sure you have Macros enabled!
These resources have been expertly made and kindly shared by Stephen Peacock, who provides a few words about his resources:
“The mini maths bingo games were developed as a quick and easy starter/plenary for use in any class. They are always enjoyed by classes and are great way of having a little fun while engaging the whole class. Small prizes possibly required. Template available from www.peacockmaths.co.uk”
I hope you are your students find them as useful as we did!
