Our new Subject Leader for Secondary Mathematics is Craig Barton, an Advanced Skills Teacher, who aims to make the teaching and learning of mathematics as fun and as easy possible. He will be responsible for further developing and expanding TES Resources in this area. In addition, Craig plans to regularly review and recommend a variety of resources in order to help share valuable lesson ideas and teaching tips.
Craig Barton says "I have a great passion for helping people enjoy mathematics, whether they are a student who thinks they cannot understand algebra, or a teacher looking for a new way to explain a tricky concept. I like nothing better than finding a lovely new resource or hearing about a clever little tip that makes everybody's mathematical life a lot easier."
About Craig Barton
In his new role Craig Barton will bring attention to the thousands of top-quality Maths resources that are available on TES. He will pick out a "Resource of the Week" and record a video explaining why he likes it and suggesting ways it could be used. Craig has also created a Secondary Maths Collection Page which features themed collections of some of the best resources. To complement this page a fortnightly themed Maths Newsletter, written by him, will be sent out to subscribers highlighting resources.
Craig Barton is also the creator of www.mrbartonmaths.com
