How do I open files if I don't have the relevant software?

Some of the uploaded files will have been created for specific applications and interactive whiteboards. There are some viewers available, or alternatively there are limited trial versions that you can install.

Can I change or edit my resource?

Yes you can. Click on 'My Resources', select the 'Edit' button and make your changes. You can change your resource as often as you need.

What type of files can I share?

You can share most major file types such as PowerPoints, Word Documents, JPG, PDF, Videos, Smartboard and much more.

Can I add a third party web address to resources?

Yes, you can share a great website that you have found. However, we ask you to follow our guidelines.

Can I upload a zipped file?

No, unfortunately you are unable to upload a zipped file.

What is the maximum size of a file that I can upload?

The maximum file size is 50Mb. Bear in mind the bigger the file, the longer it will take to upload and download.

Why are some resources marked as 'Popular'?

To work out popularity we look at the ratings of a resource as well as the number of times it has been downloaded or viewed.

How do I find the resource I've been using?

You can easily find a resource that you have previously downloaded by browsing through the subject and topic menus or by using the search box at the top of the screen.

Alternatively when browsing a resource you can make it a favourite so you can easily find it again on your next visit.

Are the resources free from viruses?

Yes, all resources are virus checked.

Can I delete a comment added to my resource by another user?

It is not possible for you to delete or edit a comment that has been added by another user. If you feel a comment is unfair, click on the ‘Report Comment’ link and give us a brief explanation of why you would like it removed.

I'm having problems uploading/downloading a resource. Who should I contact?

Downloading resources

How do I download a resource?

To download a resource, simply log in with your user name and password. Select the resource you want and click on the file name that you wish to download.

Is there a limit to the number of resources I can download?

No. You can download as many resources as you need.

How do I rate and review a resource?

To rate and review a resource you must be logged in with your user name and password. Once you are logged in, select the resource you want to rate and review. Underneath the resource classification you'll find a box titled 'Add a review': just type in your review here. You will also find a 'Rate' option here. Once you are done, simply click on 'save' to add your review and rating.

Please note that you cannot add a review without choosing a rating.

Can I rate and comment on a resource anonymously?

No. We feel it is important that comments and reviews are left by a traceable user. This will result in your comments or reviews being taken more seriously by other users.
