Holocaust Memorial Day (27)
On this day in 1945 the notorious Nazi extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated and the world slowly began to uncover the extent of the genocide perpetrated there. Commemorate the Holocaust and other atrocities in countries such as Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur and help pupils carve a positive future by reflecting on the past.
