• This is a great bit of software! Enough said really! but I will continue...
  
  I found it very easy to use and the amount of information available is huge! There is everything from lesson plans (with links to resources to use in the lesson), powerpoint presentations, animations, excel spreadsheets, you name it. I have only had a chance to use it for a short time - so far!! - but I can't wait to get back and try out some of the stuff with my new 7s.
  
  To pick one section - Space - there are animations to help show how the Earth spins and moves around the Sun, so showing seasons (which is not always easy to explain). There are make-and-do activities to show distances of planets from the Sun and many worksheets.
  
  Even though this is the year 7 package I will be using some of this to teach my year 11 GCSE Astronomy class next year!
  
  The lesson plans have the usual objectives on and these are geared to show what level the students are working to depending on what they achieve. There are extra areas for those students that need extending, as well as help sections for the less able. Pretty much evetything has been thought of and I think this would be great for a new teacher to help with their planning, and also for a more experienced teacher (to be polite!) to add another dimension to their own knowledge and teaching.
  
  On the whole this is a great piece of software and I think I need to get the year 8 & 9 ones as well!!
