A quiz using PowerPoint - all about Germany and Austria, a little bit of Geography and History in there. I did this as an opening presentation for some of my classes back in September, but am doing it again this Monday with a different class and thought it might be useful for others. Let me know what you think - I hope it comes in handy!

Great quiz ideas
Great pictures; I would love to use it with my classes! Not sure about 'lots of people had no jobs' in the East!! Lovely idea with the little quiz questions! Thanks very much!

Presentation on Germany/Austria
This is a fantastic resource - really well researched and colourfully displayed. Could easily be used/adapted for KS2 learners of MFL. Thank you.

Thank you!
I am German and will be presenting Germany to a school class in India. It's difficult to find something typical if you live in Germany itself. Here I have a wonderful starting point. I am not sure, as well, about the unemployment in former East Germany. I thought the whole point about socialism was that everyone had a job but could not easily choose what to do. thanks
