Ex-colonel leads way
Former soldier Geoff Draper has become the new principal and chief executive of the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC). Mr Draper served almost 30 years in the British Army, rising to the rank of colonel. Welcoming RNC’s new principal, chair of governors David Adams said: “The skills and experience he brings from leading roles within the military education system will be invaluable to the continuing success of RNC.” Mr Draper took over from interim principal Ian Pickford on December 7.
