Community Education Awards 2011 - Open for entries

Entries are now being accepted for the Community Education Awards 2011

The Community Education Awards is an annual celebration of schools’ efforts to help children to become positive community members.

High schools, primary schools and pupil referral units from across the UK can enter the Awards by selecting one or more of the 12 categories on offer and completing a brief online form.

Winners will receive free educational resources as well as the chance to publicise their work further at a London ceremony to be hosted by brand ambassador Esther Rantzen CBE.

Areas covered by the Awards include anti-social behaviour, bullying, internet safety and sports projects as well as individual roles such as outstanding citizenship/PSHE teacher and pupil referral unit learning mentor.

The closing date for entries is 31 January 2011.
