We currently run 19 Primary and Secondary Academies, all in London and the surrounding areas.  Three quarters of our Academies so far inspected by Ofsted have been rated as 'Outstanding'.  The key to this success lies in attracting, retaining and developing London's best teachers, leaders and support staff who share our ambition to set standards of excellence for the children and teenagers we educate.  We offer extensive professional development, including through our Teaching School, and our teachers also receive a large number of other benefits including a Harris allowance in their salary and private medical cover.

About the Harris Federation
The Harris Federation is a charity with over 20 years’ experience in education. We have built our reputation on a growing family of Academies and Free Schools located in and around London, which are setting standards of excellence and fulfilling high expectations. Three-quarters (9 out of 12) of our inspected Academies are rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Since opening, our Academies have achieved an average increase of 33 percentage points in the proportion of students gaining at least five A*-C grades (including English and maths) at GCSE.

The Secret of Our Success
The key to our success lies in attracting, retaining and developing staff of the highest quality. Already, X of our Principals have been internally grown. We recently opened our own Teaching School, reflecting our commitment to the professional development of our staff and other teachers across London.  All of our Academies are located in and around London, facilitating frequent sharing of ideas, training and facilities between our staff and schools.
