‘From Little Acorns Great Oaks Grow’

Vision: To equip the children with the best possible start in life to enable them to achieve and be happy, positive citizens and life-long learners in an ever changing world.

Hartsholme Primary School is situated to the south of the beautiful cathedral city of Lincoln. Next door is Hartsholme Country Park, complete with lake and wildlife.

The school, established in 1952, enjoys a large playground and an extensive playing field complete with shrubs and trees and a new inner security fence. Improvements include two additional buildings, which provide a further five classrooms, shared work areas, an ICT suite, new external windows and doors, a new hall floor and a refurbished main reception area.

Plans are currently underway to further enhance the school environment. These include developing the school grounds to enrich curriculum provision and improve leisure and play facilities for the children. The nursery has the capacity to accommodate 52 part-time children. We have a Foundation Stage Unit, for reception children and morning and afternoon nursery children, and nine further classes.

The school began life as a Local Authority school and is now a self-governing school with Foundation status.
