1:1 Teaching Assistant

32.5 hours per week (Possible Job Share) 

The post is to support a child currently in Year 1 who is on the Autistic Spectrum. The role will include supporting the child during lessons and playtimes, and may involve some personal care and hygiene duties.  It will also involve working with the child on specific learning and emotional development activities at various times during the day in accordance with the statement.

Experience of working with this age group or similar SEND work or NVQ3 in Childcare or equivalent would be strongly preferred.

The timetable for working with the child may need to be flexible depending on the needs of the child and in conjunction with other staff.
