The Architectural Association (AA) was founded in 1847 and is home to the oldest independent school of architecture in the UK, located in the heart of London. It is governed by its members and is committed to reaching a wide public audience through the learning, teaching, discussion and promotion of architecture. With 750 students and 250 staff the AA School is recognised as a worldwide leader in architectural education. Graduates include many of today's leading architects, scholars, critics and educators.
