The Governors and the Headteacher are looking to appoint an exceptional leader and teacher of Mathematics who will significantly contribute to Poltair School's recent and rapid improvements and secure the next level of school performance and achievement.

What we are looking for in applicants:

  • A passion for teaching Mathematics and all facets of the curriculum.
  • A commitment to fresh, creative and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum.
  • A proven track record of high achievement at key stage 4;
  • Experience of implementing intervention and tracking the impact of it;
  • An ability to work effectively within a supportive team environment;
  • Be an excellent team player who enjoy working collaboratively and leading by example, setting high standards for all;
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience under pressure;
  • A commitment of the development of Numeracy across the curriculum;
  • Excellent communication and ICT skills and an ability to demonstrate openness and honesty.
