Gloucester Primary School is expanding from a two form entry to a three form entry school. Situated in the heart of Peckham, we have a very diverse community that we serve. The school is currently working towards improving the quality of provisions. To help us improve we require an excellent Administration Manager to lead and work in our busy office.

We are looking for a person who has:

  • Excellent numeracy/literacy skills;
  • Effective use of specialist ICT packages;
  • Initiative and enthusiasm;
  • Is able to organise, lead and motivate other staff;

Knowledge of web based finance systems would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Gloucester Primary School is set in a culturally rich and diverse community. The school has 58 staff members and 423 pupils of mixed gender on roll at present with ages ranging from 3 to 11 years. In June 2012 the school was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

The school is focussed on raising standards and is developing the use of cutting edge technologies within its Victorian building to aid this.

The school is surrounded by the regeneration area of the former North Peckham Estate and investment continues in the nearby vast expanse of Burgess Park.
