37 hours per week, Term Time plus 2 weeks

The post-holder must be a skilled Administrative Assistant, who can provide a high level of support to our Inclusion Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to manage the smooth running of all administrative aspects to Inclusion/SEND. You will be committed to demonstrating high levels of support to our team and the students of the Academy.

Candidates should be organised and self-motivated and will need to be a good communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT skills. This includes an excellent working knowledge in a range of programs, such Microsoft Excel and Word; experience and understanding into SIMS would be advantageous. Typing speeds will need to be above 40 wpm.

Although not essential the post-holder may be required to work odd days during holiday periods to suit the needs of the business. As we continue to develop our Inclusion provision at the Academy, the Administration is a key aspect to our day-to-day protocols. The post holder will be required to interact with staff, students and visitors at all levels as well as being able to deal authoritatively but sensitively with a range of issues affecting children, parents and outside agencies; this includes liaising with our Local Authority on a regular basis.

Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, being able to work using your own initiative and occasionally under time pressures.
