Area Headteacher

An opportunity has arisen to be the Area Headteacher of the Mendip Partnership School (PRU) which is an all though school that offers education and support to children and young people who are permanently excluded from school or are at risk of exclusion and from their schools, pupils who are unable to attend school because of medical reasons and pupils who are considered hard to place.

This is an exciting time as the School, along with the other three integrated PRUs in the County, continues to develop its provision, having been established in 2013, including the planning of a new building to bring the existing provision in to one building.  

The Mendip Partnership School works closely as a partner with schools in the area, the Local Authority, and the voluntary and private sector to provide education provision and out-reach programmes for pupils and schools through the management and deployment of specialist support staff.
