Delivering sales for an assessment market leader

Permanent, Term-time, 42 weeks per annum

This challenging and rewarding position has arisen with GL Assessment, the UK's largest provider of assessments to schools. The role offers a great opportunity to make a difference and grow our market share in Scotland, driving sales of our extensive and well-respected assessment portfolio.

Responsible for the effective day-to-day management of your sales territory, you will be operating within primary schools, secondary schools and councils, managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities.

You will also be expected to generate a country development plan, identify and co-ordinate future tender opportunities, and develop your expertise in assessments and examinations linked to the Curriculum for Excellence and HMIE inspection regimes. You will be comfortable identifying and delivering business opportunities within large organisations like local authorities, presenting to large groups, as well as building productive relationships with senior leaders in schools.

To meet our ambitious goals, you will need to demonstrate a track record of success - ideally in an educational sales environment within Scotland or wider experience in working collaboratively within senior management teams in schools or council education departments.

Proven solution-selling, key account management experience and excellent communication and presentation skills are vital.
