Due to increasing student numbers and a Sixth Form opening in September 2014 the increasingly successful and popular Bishop of Winchester Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and highly committed Art/Photography teacher to join a strong and dynamic team of teachers. The Academy is at a pivotal stage as it is undergoing a significant rebuilding programme that will improve the lives of future generations of students and the community in Bournemouth.
The successful applicant will:
- Be an outstanding Art/Photography teacher, with an ability to teach painting, drawing, printing and photography and who is dynamic, highly motivated, and innovative.
- Be able to inspire students to have high expectations.
- Be a positive and supportive mentor to students.
- Engage fully in the Enrichment programme.
The successful candidate will be joining an Academy with a Senior Leadership Team determined, committed and focused on inspiring students to succeed.

About The Bishop of Winchester Academy
The Bishop of Winchester Academy, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, is a Church of England secondary school that prides itself on its curriculum, governance and outstanding student behaviour. Students aged 11-18 experience teaching in new state-of-the-art buildings and have first-class resources at their fingertips. The school operates in an area where there are schools that select for entry on grounds of ability.
The mixed secondary school was opened in September 2010 as a sponsor-led academy. In September 2014, the Bishop of Winchester Academy extended its educational opportunities by opening its own sixth form.
