Cheney School is a popular, high performing school located in the heart of Oxford serving a diverse community of students who are eager to learn. The school became a Single Academy Trust on 1 January 2013.

We are seeking to appoint a skilled, ambitious and innovative teacher to join a successful and progressive Art department. We are a strong team which places the promotion of excellence in learning at the heart of our work. We would welcome a team player who is keen to work collaboratively and contribute to a strong culture of sharing best practice, resources and ideas. This exciting post offers teaching in KS3/4, with opportunities for KS5 teaching for the right candidate. The ability to offer a second subject is appreciated particularly Design Technology or Business and ICT.

The post would suit an innovative individual; either a NQT or an experienced teacher. We are an excellent supportive school for prospective NQTs to develop as teachers, as well as providing a platform for experienced staff to further develop their professional career.
