This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, dynamic team working to produce top-class assessments. The role of Science Assessment Manager will suit an experienced Science specialist looking for a new challenge.

Who we are
Cambridge International Examinations is part of the Cambridge Assessment Group, a department of the University of Cambridge. We prepare school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. Every year, nearly a million Cambridge learners from 10 000 schools in 160 countries prepare for their future with an international education from Cambridge. We also work with ministries and other agencies on major education reform projects, designing and developing curriculum and assessment materials for particular needs and contexts while meeting international standards.

What it's about
The position will be part of the Assessment Projects Group. The Group is working on fast-moving projects with international clients to produce new assessments which fit with new curricula, and also works on producing assessments covering Cambridge primary and secondary 1.

What you'll be doing
You'll be managing syllabus production processes, working with subject specialists on the production of test specifications, sample material and ultimately the assessment material itself. You'll be checking, proofing and signing off question papers and mark schemes as well as managing examiners and ensuring the assessments are accurately graded to make sure that results are reliable.

What we're looking for
An enthusiastic team player who is self-motivating and confident in the specialist area of Sciences. You'll be a Science graduate, ideally with experience in teaching (possibly in an international context) and are likely to have knowledge of assessment issues. A keen problem solver with meticulous accuracy, you will have a proven ability to manage your workload when under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and will enjoy contributing to the success of Cambridge International Examinations.
