Bettridge School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and committed individual to support the Site Manager in maintaining the school premises to a high standard at all times.
This is a temporary post in the first instance due to re-organisation with hours on a split shift basis of 7.30-10.30am and 3.00-6.00pm.
This is a physical role which involves moving furniture, working indoors and outdoors so you will need to be fit and healthy. The role requires good practical, DIY and decorating skills. The role includes specified daily cleaning duties should incidents occur and when there are absences, working alongside the cleaning staff. The school has a hydrotherapy pool that requires skilled maintenance for which training will be given. The post holder will be required to be a back-up for 24 hour emergency call out.

With effect from 1st September 2014 Bettridge School will introduce an additional local 'living wage supplement' to the pay of all Bettridge School staff who are currently on salaries of less than £7.65 per hour/£14,760 per annum.
