This post is full time, throughout the year and incorporates holiday entitlement of 24 days which must be taken during periods of school closure.

The Governors of Icknield Community College invite applications for the post of Assistant Caretaker. This role will be to assist in the provision of maintenance and security services on the school premises thereby ensuring a safe working environment.

We are keen to appoint an Assistant Caretaker who will work as part of a team to assist in the provision and maintenance of the school site.

Ofsted report

In March 2019, Ofsted graded the school as ‘Good’ once again. The HMI Lead Inspector confirmed ‘The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.’ The report also described the Headteacher as ‘…an outward-looking, dynamic and thoughtful leader’ who has ‘instigated a number of far-reaching and successful changes over the last few years.’ We believe that our Ofsted report describes the school accurately and are pleased with the comments in it.
