To help people like Amelia we need someone who can take a strategic approach to developing the best opportunities across the city through education, employment and training. We think this person could be you. It's a role that comes with a lot of history and a range of challenges. We are the youngest city in the country, and among the largest and most diverse. As you lead our efforts to unlock potential, you'll make sure all of our children's voices are heard. You'll help our good schools become outstanding, while realising new possibilities in training and employment.

As an influential expert in education, with the ability to remodel services, inspire our people, forge strong partnerships and build on our strengths in commissioning, you'll help thousands of people aged 2-25 years old to become successful adults, identifying and responding to any obstacles in their way.
