Tolworth Girls' School & Sixth Formis a thriving community school with a healthy and open attitude to progress and change. The school is at an exciting stage of development, with an increasing sixth form, new buildings planned and the possible opening of a primary free school. We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to work with our Director of Sixth form on shaping the future directions of our Sixth form Students. Our mixed Sixth Form is growingrapidlyand weneed an individual with the ambition, drive and leadership skills tojoin our energetic, experienced andexpanding team. You will be responsiblefor monitoringthe academic and pastoral vision and strategy in the Sixth Form ably supported by an assistant Head of Sixth and a dedicated Administrationand welfare team.

Over 85% of our students choose to stay at our Sixth Form, which is a testament to their confidence in our ability to Inspire, care and support them both academically and pastorally.

100% of our students who applied to university were offered places with over 80% achieving their First choice.

We are looking for an Outstanding Practioner; the ability to teach Maths, Sciences, English or Media would be an advantage.

Our academic success speaks for itself; Tolworth students achieve high academic standards and make very good progress with above average results, 74% achieved 5 or more A* - C grades including English and Maths, with 25% gaining 5 or more A* or A grades. Our 3 year average is 75% Grade A-C in English and Maths and 85% gaining 5 A - C grades.
