Assistant Head Teacher - Free School

Langdale is offering a unique opportunity for a dynamic and committed professional to join the leadership team of the first Free School in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity to bring our nearly 100 year old traditions and standards to the wider Blackpool community and to make an important contribution to our first Ofsted inspection.

We are seeking a motivated, inspirational and innovative leader to assist in:

• formulating and executing strategies to build on our current strengths and develop new ones, whilst remaining the leading academic primary school in the area;
• working collaboratively with a successful leadership team particularly in relation to assessment
• fostering our culture of high academic expectations and achievement within our small classes;
• sustaining our family ethos of strong pastoral care and support;
• developing our plans further for an innovative and creative curriculum.

As an enthusiastic and outstanding teacher, or an experienced leader, you will have the skills and drive necessary to: continually raise academic standards; engage, inspire and motivate staff, pupils and parents alike; develop strong links with, and promote the school to, the broader community; and lead both ongoing continuous improvement programmes and specific development initiatives.

You will be outcome-driven, possess a strong educational vision, and have the gravitas and inter-personal skills required to support the school's principal in leading the school through its imminent Ofsted inspection.
