This thriving 11-16 co-educational school is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced teacher who has substantial and successful experience at senior management level to appoint as Assistant headteacher (Curriculum).
This is an exciting time for the school with a strong focus on raising student achievement and building on successful examination results. A significant investment has also been made in ICT.
The Bailiwick of Jersey is a self governing Crown Dependency and this has implications for its Education Service. Jersey has adopted the United Kingdom National Curriculum and Assessment. Salaries and conditions of service are negotiated locally. Relocation expenses are paid. Consideration will be given to applications from appropriately qualified disabled persons.

About Le Rocquier School
Opened in 2006, Le Rocquier School is a successful and flourishing co-educational, non-denominational 11-16 School in the Bailiwick of Jersey with outstanding facilities. The island of Jersey is a crown dependency of the United Kingdom, and situated in the English Channel. There are approximately 800 students on the school roll, along with 60 teaching staff and 50 support staff. Our inclusive school is located in the Saint Clement parish, which is located on the island’s southern coast and has a population of around 10,000.
In 2022 80% of our GCSE subjects added value at GCSE. Maths, English, Science and many, many others all exceeded expectation (adding value).
