Sacred Heart Catholic School has a rapidly growing and successful Sixth Form which in only its third year of formation has secured places for students' at Russell Group and Oxbridge Universities.

Sacred Heart Catholic School is an outstanding 11-18 mixed school. We have a vibrant and dynamic school population, who are able to achieve great things with the high expectations and caring environment synonymous with our school. In December 2012, Ofsted judged us as outstanding in every category. The main aim of the school is to educate pupils in accordance with the principles of the Catholic Faith which shines through in all aspects of the life of the school.

The Governors wish to appoint a committed, caring and enthusiastic professional to lead the development of the Sixth Form and to further develop the strong culture of achievement for all.

The successful candidate needs to be:

  • An experienced leader of sixth form
  • An excellent classroom practitioner with a good track record of outcomes
  • A fully committed member of staff willing to support and take part in whole school activities as part of the senior leadership team
