De Beauvoir is a rapidly improving school currently under new leadership, following the appointment of a new Headteacher. It serves a vibrant and diverse student population within the east end of London, who deserve the very best education to ensure outstanding rates of progress for all.

We are looking to appoint a strong, well organised, professional, enthusiastic and committed:

ASSISTANT HEAD TEACHER (Inclusion)

Some class based work but essentially a strong lead on behaviour, pastoral support, overseeing inclusion.

  • Do you have high expectations and are passionate about making a difference to young children's lives?
  • Do you have the ability to inspire colleagues?
  • Do you have the ability to form positive relationships with staff, children, parents and other stakeholders?
  • Are you a willing team player (with a sense of humour) who can manage time well and likes to get things done?
  • Is your organisational practice exemplary?
  • Do you have meticulous record keeping and the ability to stay calm whilst also being assertive?
  • Have you experience of rigorous tracking and monitoring?
  • Have you got experience of rapidly raising standards in challenging inner city schools?
  • Are you an inspirational teacher able to lead by example and able to support others to improve learning.?
  • Do you relish challenge and use your initiative to find creative solutions?

The successful candidate will have had previous, successful experience in these areas and have worked at senior leadership level. This is a great opportunity to work in a thriving, rapidly improving school which is now linked in partnership to a local outstanding school.
