We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our Leadership Team at an exciting stage in the development of the school.

Oaks Park High School is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school which opened in September 2001. We are over-subscribed in all year groups. Our Sixth Form has 390 students on roll and continues to expand. An extensive building programme is taking place to enable the school to accommodate 10 forms of entry.

In October 2011 Ofsted commented 'the school's effectiveness is outstanding'.

The key elements of this post will be:

  • Coordination of all aspects of Learning Support
  • Acting as the school SENCO
  • Responsibility for Looked After Children
  • Coordination of arrangements for Child Protection
  • Development of our Visually Impaired Provision
  • Managing a team of support staff
  • Line Management of EAL
