The Governors of Moor Hey School wish to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to join our team effective from 13th April 2015 (or earlier) following the retirement of the Head of Primary Department.

We are a good school with outstanding features who continue to improve provision and success for all of our pupils. If you have a drive and desire to support children and young people with learning difficulties to develop into confident and successful adults, we welcome your application.

Moor Hey is a small Special School supporting the development of Primary and Secondary pupils who have statements for Special Educational Needs. Their learning difficulties are wide and varied and continue to be more complex and complicated year on year.

The school is very well placed to continue to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people and places a strong focus on working effectively supporting the local community.
