Job overview

We are looking for an outstanding EYFS and KS1 practitioner who is ready for senior leadership responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional, innovative, energetic leader who is focussed upon the social, emotional and learning needs of our wonderful infant children.

The successful applicant will work alongside 2 other Assistant Head Teachers who have responsibility for KS2 and Inclusion.

We are seeking an individual who will:

  • possess excellent leadership and people skills
  • demonstrate a thorough understanding and passion for learning in EYFS and KS1
  • provide strong direction and management of the teaching and learning of all pupils in the relentless pursuit of raising standards
  • take a lead role in the monitoring and evaluation of standards across the departments
  • work collaboratively with staff at all levels to develop school policy and strategy
  • embrace our ethos of celebrating diversity and inclusion
  • demonstrate a real passion for improving children's lives and commitment to ensuring all children make excellent progress, with no limitations
