We are offering an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to become part of a dynamic new leadership team in which you will have the opportunity to share your talents and make a difference. We are looking for leaders with high expectations, and lots of energy who will embrace both the responsibility and the opportunity to influence change by leading a major aspect of our academy improvement plan.

The role of Assistant Principal for Inclusion is non class based but has a teaching commitment and you will be responsible for the following areas: the inclusion, induction, monitoring and progress of EAL Learners; the inclusion and progress of children with SEND at all levels and as the academy's SENCO you will work with staff and outside agencies; you will be the deputy designated safeguarding teacher and required to attend Child Protection Conferences where necessary; you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the academy behaviour policy, including the analysis of the class behaviour logs; staff management and working directly with a number of staff to support inclusion, monitoring and managing the training and development of staff; parent links where you will responsible for building relationships with parents of children who need support, those with language barriers, statements, child protection issues or behaviour challenges.
