We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated leader with the knowledge, vision and drive to build upon improving the many achievements of the Academy.

The Academy is presently restructuring its entire leadership team of Principal, two Vice Principals and four Assistant Principals. We wish to appoint a dedicated and ambitious individual who is capable of further development as a senior leader and will subsequently wish to further her/his career in senior management.

Guru Nanak Sikh Academy was established as a Sikh voluntary aided secondary school in September 1999. The Academy has since undergone significant expansion and now admits 6 forms of entry. In September 2012 it merged with Guru Nanak Primary School to form an all age academy. The roll in September will be around 1420 students. Since 2013 the Academy has been designated a teaching school. In consequence it offers outstanding continuous professional development opportunities to its staff.

The most recent Ofsted inspection in March 2008 resulted in Grade 1 'Outstanding' being designated in every category. All our students and their parents have a powerful commitment to the value of education. The Academy therefore offers a very positive classroom environment to all its teachers.

The successful applicant will be joining a friendly, hard-working School. Teaching staff originate from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds.

In 1993 Guru Nanak Sikh College (an independent school) was opened at the request of the community by our founder Sant Baba Amar Singh Ji, whose vision is that through education we can eradicate poverty and ignorance.

The Academy is an oversubscribed all through Academy in Hayes, Hillingdon.  It currently has a 7 form of entry in the Secondary Phase with a Sixth Form and 2 form of entry in the Primary Phase.
